Remember Jungle.com?
I remember when this website was in competition with Amazon and seemed to be doing quite well. Then I forgot about it, and so did the world.
If you goto jungle.com now it redirects you to Argos. So, Argos bought it?
I dug up this: Jungle.com is sold for £37 million
So Great Universal Stores (GUS) bought Jungle.com back in 2000 then eh? And what did they do with it, considering it was “the second largest on-line retailer in the UK”, they just redirect jungle.com visitors to argos.com.
What a waste.
