This week I have mostly been playing….

Since I have recently gotten my ATI GFX card (Radeon 9600) working in Fedora 7 with the new drivers released from AMD/ATI I have been trying out various games.

One of the better ones is Glest. Its a real-time strategy game like those such as Command and Conquer but is based on mythical creatures and characters.

There are two factions, tech and magic. Basically the tech have things like humans, knights etc and the magic have wizards, summoners etc.

This game is fantastic, if a little bit on the difficult side at times. If you like RTS games then give it a try, its free and there is a bustling forum on their website for you to try out. The graphics are amazing for a free game and gameplay is intelligent too.

I was just looking for this info for some time. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your website. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this type of informative web sites in top of the list. Normally the top sites are full of garbage.
